Theo Beaumont
Theo Beaumont leads Halter’s enterprise and partnerships function across North America, implementing virtual fencing to improve grazing management, operational efficiency and land stewardship.
Growing up in New Zealand, Theo began working with cattle while still in high school and later completed a Bachelor of Agricultural Science. Theo joined Halter in its early days, when boots on the ground meant standing in frosty paddocks at 4am with producers, testing collars and making changes on the spot. Today, he brings that same practical mindset to U.S. ranchers operating at scale.
Halter is currently used by ranchers globally, with more than 750,000 cattle across North America, New Zealand and Australia. In 2025, Halter ranchers set over 350,000 miles of virtual fence, shifted cattle for more than 1.49 million hours, and collectively saved an estimated 62,000 days not riding after cattle.
When he’s not out with his team visiting ranchers, you’ll find Theo in Colorado hunting, fly-fishing, or mountain biking.
