Pia Brantgarde Linder
Pia brings together deep industrial expertise and hands-on leadership in applying AI and digital technology to livestock and food production. Under her leadership, Munters FoodTech helps livestock and food producers move from reactive management toward preventative and predictive operations through strategic utilization of data, AI, and connected systems.
A core part of this work is improving production efficiency through better decision-making. By combining real-time data with advanced analytics and AI across farms, production systems and software platforms, Pia and her teams focus on helping producers improve the Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR), detect deviations earlier, and take action before performance or animal welfare is impacted.
Shifting from traditional hindsight reporting to predictive modeling and forecasting helps teams learn faster and act sooner improving performance and delivering more consistent results across food production systems.
Prior to Munters, Pia spent over 20 years at ABB, progressing from executive trainee into senior global leadership roles across technology, R&D, operations, sales, and general management. Her last role at ABB was Business Area Manager for High Voltage Products in Northern Europe.
Pia has lived and worked internationally, including in Scotland and Mexico, and has led teams and businesses across Europe, APAC, and the Americas.
