G. Cliff Lamb, Ph.D., is Director of Texas A&M AgriLife Research ' a premier U.S. research agency in agriculture, natural resources and the life sciences. He has championed the modernization of research infrastructure toward intelligent agricultural systems across The Texas A&M University System. Lamb helmed the acquisition and construction of several advanced research facilities spanning plant and animal sciences. His impacts include overseeing a record $240 million in competitive grants in 2023 and an annual portfolio of more than $320 million in research expenditures. Lamb continues to foster opportunities to develop the next generation of research leaders for our food and fiber systems.
