Chelsea Good
Chelsea Good is founder of Good & Associates, a multiclient firm specializing in issues management, government affairs, strategic communications, and industry relations for the agriculture sector. She also is engaged in cattle feeding and investing.
From 2013 – 2025 Chelsea served as Vice President of Government and Industry Affairs and Legal at Livestock Marketing Association (LMA) representing livestock auctions across the United States.
Chelsea serves on the boards of directors of the American Agricultural Law Association, Kansas Agriculture Rural Leadership, Kansas City Agribusiness Council, and Livestock Meat Industry Council.
Chelsea previously worked at the Kansas Department of Agriculture, first as the Communications Director and then as a Staff Attorney specializing in animal health law and policy.
Chelsea is a graduate of Washburn University School of Law. She also has a master’s degree in communications studies and bachelor’s degrees in agricultural communications and journalism; political science; and public relations, all from Kansas State University.
Chelsea lives in Leawood, Kansas with her husband, Chad Tenpenny. Her hobbies include golf, travel, classic country concerts, and agriculture investing.)
