COVID-19 Guidance

Conferences are currently taking place successfully across the United States, welcoming domestic and international audiences as we all enjoy the return to live events.

We are working closely with our partners and host venue to implement simple safety measures so that everyone can enjoy the valuable networking and business mingling that are such a vital part of our live event experience. This means the event will look a little different this year.

This page will be updated with any new guidance to comply with the City and County of San Francisco government mandated guidelines, so do please keep checking back as we approach the summit. Last updated March 8, 2022.

At the summit:

All participants at the in-person summit do not have to show proof of vaccination or take a negative COVID-19 test.

  • Mask Wearing: You are more than welcome to wear a mask, if you prefer to do so.
  • As per latest updates from San Francisco City & County, proof of vaccination or negative test are no longer required for our size of event.
  • Note: If you’re also joining World Agri-Tech or Future Food-Tech San Francisco, these are classed as ‘mega events’ with over 1,000 attendees so the following apply:
    • Participants are required to show proof of full vaccination (first and second vaccination plus booster) administered at least two weeks prior to the summit OR bring proof of a negative COVID-19 official test (lab or outside source only) taken within one day (for antigen tests) or two days (for PCR tests) of the summit. You can find the nearest testing locations in San Francisco here.
    • Proof of entry documentation will be checked against photo ID on arrival. Printed, photocopy or digital copies all accepted.
  • Stay home if you feel unwell – Do not attend if you are displaying symptoms, test positive, or are required to self-isolate.
  • Be mindful of others – Everyone has their own personal comfort level re proximity and contact, so give each other space.
  • Practice hand hygiene – Sanitizers and washrooms will be available throughout the venue.
  • Reduce touch points – Fewer business cards and promotional materials are being shared at live events. All attendees and exhibitors can be contacted via the summit online platform (for 2 weeks before, and 4 weeks after the summit) to exchange contact details and share information. The summit program will be available only on the platform, not in print. Download the app before you attend – search ‘Rethink App’ in your app store.
